Auto Blogs Setup

Overview

An auto blog is a collection of posts with shared settings like schedule, category, and integrations. You can optionally use Title Seeds to control post titles in advance.

Prerequisites

  • Access to Bloggy AI dashboard
  • At least one publishing integration connected if you plan to auto-publish

1) Start a New Auto Blog

  1. Go to Auto Blogs
  2. Click Add Auto Blog

2) Enter Basic Details

  1. Title: the name of your auto blog
  2. Description: a short summary of what the auto blog covers
  3. Category: choose from the available list
  4. Custom Topic (only for the custom category): describe your theme in plain language

3) Set Status

  • Inactive: recommended while you prepare content
  • Active: enables generation on your schedule

4) Title Seeds (Optional)

  1. Turn on "Use Title Seeds" if you want Bloggy AI to generate posts using your prepared titles
  2. After saving the auto blog, go to the Title Seeds page to add titles to this auto blog
  3. When your titles are ready, set the auto blog Status to Active

5) Timezone and Schedule

  1. Choose your timezone
  2. Set days and times when posts should be generated
  3. If you publish to Medium, keep in mind platform rate limits when planning your schedule

6) Integrations

  1. Select where your content should be published (e.g., Ghost, WordPress, Medium, Shopify)
  2. Make sure integrations are connected and tested
  3. For Shopify integrations, select which blog to publish to

Updating an Existing Auto Blog

  • You can change schedule, integrations, and status at any time
  • If using Title Seeds, add or edit titles on the Title Seeds page
  • Set Status to Active when you want generation to begin

Tips

  • Keep the auto blog Inactive until your seeds and schedule are ready
  • Use clear, descriptive titles if you rely on Title Seeds
  • Review schedule to avoid exceeding external platform limits

Troubleshooting

  • Posts not generating: ensure Status is Active and the schedule includes upcoming times
  • Titles not used: verify "Use Title Seeds" is enabled for the auto blog
  • Publishing errors: check integrations are connected and credentials are valid
